Mass Times

The schedule for the weekend Mass is as follow:

  • Saturday 4 pm (in Cantonese)
  • Saturday 5:30 pm 
  • Sunday 9:00 am
  • Sunday 11:00 am
  • Sunday 5:30 pm

The time for weekday Mass is Monday to Saturday at 8:00 am (Holiday at 9 am).

Confession Times

Confession 20 min. before weekend Masses and 15 min. before weekday Masses in the church or by appointment. Please contact Father Paul Chu at pchu@rcav.org

Adoration Hours

Parish church and grotto are opened for private prayer daily from 7 am to 7 pm

Holy Hour on Friday from 8:30 am to 9:30 am

Father Paul Tat Cheung Chu

Welcome to St. John the Parish website! We are a Catholic community in the Kerrisdale area of Vancouver, BC. Please feel free to explore our site. If you are new to the area and would like to join our parish, please kindly introduce yourself to me. My email is pchu@rcav.org. If you have been away from the Sacraments, we warmly invite you to come home. Confessions are usually available before all Masses. If you are not a Catholic yet, we invite you to explore the Catholic Faith by joining our Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) program to learn and to experience the Catholic Faith. We are happy to answer any questions you might have regarding the Catholic Faith and our community. May God bless you and your loved ones!
